Know your numbers.
Know what they mean.
Most lab reports tell you if you are in range. ATH Labs tells you what the research actually says about optimal. Not just the reference range set by a panel funded by the industry that profits from treating you after you are sick.
Order a panel, get the ATH interpretation immediately. Add results again after 90 days and watch your markers trend over time. Your testosterone after a sleep and training protocol. Your fasting insulin after cleaning up your diet. Your homocysteine after starting methylfolate. Every retest builds the picture.
Free account required for interpretation
Entering results and viewing your ATH interpretation requires a free verified ATH account. Creating an account takes under two minutes. If you purchase a panel, account creation is part of checkout.
Create a free account →FSA and HSA eligibility
We are actively working to make ATH Labs panels FSA and HSA eligible. Diagnostic lab panels typically qualify as eligible medical expenses under IRS Publication 502 and we expect to confirm this at checkout in a future update.
Order or enter
Order a panel through ATH and results populate automatically. Or enter any lab value you already have from any source. Both paths give you the same ATH interpretation.
Get the ATH interpretation
Per-biomarker breakdown generated immediately. ATH optimal vs mainstream reference range, named research, named funders, one action step per marker. Yours permanently, no subscription required to read it.
Take action on your results
Apex subscribers get a monthly report connecting your lab results to your health and fitness coaching. It gives you per-biomarker context tied to your nutrition, recovery, and training.
Sports subscribers get all of that plus a sport-specific layer: results mapped against your athletic performance demands, season phase, and position. Lab data becomes part of how your sport programming is built.
Free accounts get the full per-marker breakdown, always.
What you need to know before ordering.
Genetic markers are purchased once.
MTHFR variants do not change. Your account tracks which genetic results you already have and will block repurchase automatically. If you have already entered MTHFR results manually, the panel recognizes this and removes those markers from the purchase. You can override this in account settings if needed.
Not every panel is worth retesting on the same schedule.
Genetic markers: never retest. Blood markers: retest 90 days after a meaningful protocol change. Hormonal markers: annually, or when symptoms shift. Each panel below notes which markers benefit from retesting and how often. ATH will offer a 90-day retest option for blood markers at reduced cost.
You do not have to order through ATH to use the dashboard.
If you already have results from your GP, a DTC lab, or a previous test, enter the values manually. The interpretation is the same. This also applies to sports performance tests that require in-person facilities.
State availability at launch.
Panel ordering will be available in most US states at launch. A small number of states require a licensed provider to authorize DTC lab orders. ATH is establishing provider coverage for those states and will open them as confirmed. If you are in a restricted state, you can still use the dashboard by entering values from any other source.
Your results are only visible to you.
Your data stays yours. ATH will never sell, share, or transfer your individual health data to any third party. Not to insurers, hospitals, employers, advertisers, or data brokers. Your data is used only to improve your personalized results.

Each panel is a separate purchase. Pricing confirmed before launch.
Hormone Essentials
Core sex hormone markers only. No thyroid, no cortisol, no IGF-1. For people who want to check their hormone levels for fitness, energy, and general health. Men and women have separate versions. Upgrade to the Full Hormone Panel when you are ready to add thyroid.
Men
The most common reason men order labs independently. Testosterone total alone is not enough. Free testosterone and SHBG tell you what is actually bioavailable.
Testosterone total
The starting point. Context required: the mainstream lower bound includes men with documented hypogonadism.
Testosterone free
What is bioavailable after SHBG binding. Two men with the same total can have very different free testosterone.
SHBG
Determines how much testosterone is bound vs free. High SHBG suppresses free testosterone regardless of total levels.
DHEA-S
Adrenal precursor to testosterone. Declines with stress and age. Context for why testosterone may be suboptimal.
Estradiol
Men produce estradiol through aromatization. Elevated estradiol with low testosterone points to excess aromatase activity.
Women
Testosterone in women is rarely checked and almost never explained. It affects energy, libido, muscle maintenance, and mood. The primary female hormones are included too.
Testosterone total
Women produce testosterone in the adrenal glands and ovaries. Low testosterone causes fatigue, low libido, difficulty building muscle, and mood changes, frequently attributed to other causes.
Testosterone free
More accurate for assessing bioavailability. SHBG binds testosterone and reduces free levels in women as well as men.
Estradiol
Primary female sex hormone. Context for progesterone balance. Varies across the menstrual cycle. Test timing matters.
Progesterone
Low progesterone relative to estradiol causes estrogen dominance symptoms even when estradiol appears normal.
DHEA-S
Adrenal precursor to both testosterone and estrogen in women. Low DHEA-S often underlies low testosterone.
SHBG
High SHBG suppresses free testosterone and free estradiol in women. Affects bioavailability of both hormones.
Retesting
Core sex hormones shift with age, stress, sleep, and training load. Annual testing is a reasonable baseline. Retest at 90 days after a protocol change or when symptoms shift.
Coach integration
Interpretation included with purchase. Apex subscribers: results connect to your monthly health and fitness coaching. Sports subscribers: hormonal markers inform sport-specific programming adjustments. Upgrade to the Full Hormone Panel to add thyroid markers including reverse T3.
Coming in a later phase.
These require different lab infrastructure. Sign up to hear when each is ready.
What ATH optimal means.
Mainstream reference ranges are built from hospital population samples that include people who are metabolically compromised. When fasting insulin at 22 uIU/mL comes back as normal, that cutoff was calibrated on a population with high rates of insulin resistance. The research on actual optimal is a different number.
Every ATH optimal range is sourced to specific studies, named researchers, and named institutions. You can read the same papers.
ATH Labs gives you the research context. A physician interprets results in the context of your full medical history. These are not the same thing and ATH Labs does not replace either.
